"The Gatekeeper"

I originally drew this Bearded Collie crossbreed as a commission then, with my client's permission, I drew it again in 1987. Now titled "Scruff", it was used for a shopping bag design to compliment two others featuring a tabby cat and a Border Collie, the latter resulting from an aborted duvet cover and pillow slip design.

The drawing took approximately 75 hours to complete.
