I thought I would share my latest commission with you all. Meet Hollie Berry who is a blonde pit bull. She has her own instagram page which made it wonderful to see all the photos of her and explore her personality. With so many reference photos, it was an easy decision to do a collage of her. Just one photo could not capture all that energy and character!
I was nervous to attempt this drawing as her hair is so short and blonde. The smaller images appeared on the page quickly and that gave me the courage to push on. I used the flat chisel point of 3H, 2H and H 2mm clutch pencil for the majority of the image, with details rendered in 2B & 4B .5mm mechanical pencil.

Great collage Diane! I love that you chose poses that reflect her playful side. The one on the left with one ear flopped over is precious!
