Bowerbird Take 2

I have attempted to put Linda's and Laurene's suggestion of darkening the background behind the bird into practice and am wondering whether this has improved it or is there more that needs to be done? Also any other suggestions for improvement are welcome!

Yes, it makes all the difference! Now, the focus is definitely on the bird, and there is a sense of depth to the composition, with the nest sitting clearly in the background. I’m glad you chose to finish it. It’s a lovely drawing!
