Would you like to see another one, Mike? Of course you would!!! You might recognise the can shape and typography on this one...
(ps. I am no way a vegetarian, but I do like to think about where my food originates)

Mmmm, that font rings a bell
.
Your artwork is one of a kind , Linda. Your sense of playfulness and of seeing the world through fresh eyes is really refreshing!

Re: Ham in a Can
Sorry - I'm late to the party (busy making the demo for the next video)...
It's not only that I find this utterly adorable and whimsical and just plain desirable as an image... It's that it's packed full of enjoyment.
I swear I can feel your boundless sense of FUN as you put this together. And if I'm wrong, please don't tell me! Let me believe!

Laurene,

a very recognizable font! Good old Souvenir Bold - a real 60s/70s favourite that is still in common use.
Welcome to my party Mike! Here, have a pint
... glad you could make it. Youv'e been working too hard again and deserve a little whimsey in your life.
And yes, you are right, these are so much fun to draw! I am just having a good time, not concerning myself with a 'project' or that they are 'too small' or any of that nonesense about sales or the like. I like doing them and am enjoying them - ideas for more keep popping into my head. Who knows, they may end up framed and in a small show, but I am not even thinking that far ahead as yet, just dancing and turning up the music and having a party with my pencils.
... and although there is a somewhat serious message buried in the whimsey, hopefully it is not too much overkill.
(ohhh, bad pun)
