Another tattoo 😉

Post by PogArt-Ttoo »

Hi my friends.
This is another tattoo Iโ€™ve done last Saturday (yesterday) ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ
Itโ€™s Claire, a daughter of my friend ~ if you remember Iโ€™ve mentioned it before, when Jane(her mum) was my second client, and Claire was sitting next to us, watching the progress from beginning to the end ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ
So it was her yesterday โค๏ธ
Iโ€™ve gathered very positive comments, and Claire was so exited and happy to get this tattoo done โค๏ธ
It was her first, and so important because that date is the day her grandpa had passed awayโ€ฆ
I was stressed to get those digits done nicely, itโ€™s because it was my first time doing digits ๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™ˆ
I hope you like it ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘
I was given a bottle of Jack Danielโ€™s whisky lol ๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™ˆ
I was very surprised, I didnโ€™t expect it at all ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ
Thank you for following my updates dear friends.

Take the recurring number 2 and I can see that in action. Almost perfect copies. And the serif font looks great.

In fact, overall.... Perfect! You've always had a good eye for form and accuracy, so I'm not surprised by the result. Claire must be thrilled.

Just out of curiosity... do you do this by eye? Or is there a way of pencilling the tattoo first, so you have guides to follow. I guess I should know the answer from your earlier trials... but no.

Thank you Mike again for checking the post ๐Ÿ’—

We follow the STENCIL that we put onto the skin first.
It's like outlines ๐Ÿ‘
So the design is transferred on the skin first, and you've got the GUIDE LINES to follow ๐Ÿ‘
It's because WE DO STRETCH THE SKIN all the time to deposit the ink - without the guide lines every stroke we make would be disturbed...
Having THE GUIDE LINES we can stretch the skin and follow those lines - so every stroke is placed correctly regardless of skin stretching ๐Ÿ‘

Thank you for those interesting questions ๐Ÿ’—
I'm pleased to answer ๐Ÿ’—

And yes - it was my FIRST TIME doing numbers ๐Ÿ˜Š
I was stressed to get them right and decent looking ๐Ÿ‘

Thereโ€™s something very touching about Claire wanting to remember her grandfather this way. I admit that it brought a tear to my eyes. You really did this very important tattoo justice! You should be proud.
