lol, I’m getting a bit busy driving buses, and the tattoo studio on my days off then…
When eventually I’ve got a time to post update ~ I’m usually blocked off (banned
So last week Wednesday I’ve done my FIRST REAL TATTOO
I can’t believe it it’s happened
I was very stressed, even thought I’ve tried to keep a poker face
My first line?
I was so SOFT and GENTLE that there was hardly made any line at all
My boss has stepped in and he took the machine over to show me how to push the needles into the skin to make a line
He said ~ don’t be scared to push it, or you won’t make any line ever
So I’ve took the machine over then, and this is how I’ve started making my FIRST LINES into *talking canvas
The tattoo is long for 7.5cm, so it’s very small, but very complicated with all those lines within, that making the whole drawing…
Tricky is, those lines aren’t equal, but dynamic…
So they begin broader to end with thin sharp point…
I was struggling a lot to make it, not being sure if my technique and the chosen needle will work…
I mean, Luke has advised how to do it, but if you don’t know what mark on the skin the needle will leave ~ then it’s sort of guessing work, whether it work or not…
So I’ve done all tinny line work around the whole design, then I began making lines thicker ~ when necessary to build up the *drawing…
Obviously there’s plenty uneven lines, small mistakes as you can expect…
I’m not happy for that at all, but I was told nobody is happy with his first tattoos …
So I’m not the first not the last one
All my studio friends encouraging me, and promising this is the only way to practice and improve skills ,,,
So I have no choice really, don’t I?
The client was happy
He’s coming back to finish the tattoo, cause it took me 5h from when he arrived, to the time the studio is closing (from 12am to nearly 17hours…)
Very detailed work I shall say, and I was very stressed too
They said it’s good because I haven’t lost the client
There’s even better, because that client named Kieran was sharing positive feedback for my work to my neighbour, and to his friends, where one of them is a member of my tattoo studio ~ and he told me I did good job, because Kieran is happy with my work, and he has mentioned that his first tattoo was disaster, and he don’t wanna even remember it
So taking in count all that positive feedback ~ it wasn’t as bad as I was afraid of
That tattoo was partially done at 15th January, and in few weeks I’ll come back to it to finish it off
Tomorrow Saturday 24th Jan ~ I’m doing my SECOND tattoo
I’ll share it when it’s done
It’s my friend from our kitchen staff (buses).
We have canteen based in bus station for bus drivers…
She’s lovely person and she has offered to be my talking canvas
If I succeed tomorrow, if she’ll be happy, then she has asked for tattoo for her daughter on the wrist…
I will share this story in full, with photos when it’ll be done
Thank you dear friends.
