Ink work

Post by LindasPencils »

This term I have have been focussing on ink work with my classes. The subject is to be marine objects, starting with boats and learing the basic 'figure 8' method to understand boat structures. Then creating an ink work of your chosen boat using ink washes and/or pen.
I am still working on this, I have completed one work that is sort of okay, but not really what I want. So I will be redoing it using sepia wash and black ink. It is one of the many hire boats that was beached on one of the many lakes (I forget which one!) found in the Lake District, UK - seen and photographed on my recent trip. (Hi Mike!)
If you want to see the journey, please go to the blog: https://lindaweilfineart.blogspot.com
But if you want to avoid all that waffle, here is the work that I have completed but will redraw starting tonight.

Pen and ink was my first medium so it has a special place in my heart. I love this Linda!
