Thank you dear Linda for keen encouragement.
No, not really as far as your imagination is flying, an additional lighting only…
I’ve set it up already (light bulbs), full spectrum if we about to trust the makers, lol.
At the moment our plants are doing well where they are, so no any extra humidity will be under consideration…
In regards, when Magda is cooking the humidity is sky high, so too much may affect the condition of the house 😉👍

I’ve bought 850kg bulk bag of Red Granite Chippings 20mm average size.
It’s gonna be delivered by tomorrow, so I’ll spend most of the time spreading it all over for garden bedding …
The online calculator has pointed 2x 800kg for the size I’m about to cover…
Regardless I did consider the irregular shape and imperfections, so rather than buying too much of that gravel, I’m after to lay down half of it first, to judge whether I may need more, or not.
I will take some photos of the garden tomorrow, so it will be interesting how the garden may get improved?
Best wishes Linda 👍

The old spindles are firewood - just square cross-section. But I'll keep the nails for you, and you can take them home with you in May. ;)
Its looking great Mike. Maybe I should have you come visit me and renovate my place!
I enjoy DIY, although I've got jobs piling up here faster than I can work on them. Hmmm... deal is, I fix your place in return for scrubbing something off my bucket list..... swimming with 20-foot Manta Rays off Queensland. The nearest I've come is swimming with Manatees in Florida. Lovely! But not really in the same league. :)

lol, I'll take a nail or two. Great souvenirs!
and if you ever do decide to make the long journey south, no renovations required from you. But Mantas are on my bucket list too, however, at Ningaloo reef in Western Australia: https://www.ningaloocoralbay.com/thing- ... -half-day/

Ooooooooooooooo.... I wish! That's exactly what I have in mind. Thanks for the link - I think I'll just have to keep looking at it and use my imagination. :)

Hi dear friends.
I just came by to say very warm hello and spread greetings to you all 🙂

I'm not painting anything since I left drawing desk behind...
I'm doing many other things though, so literally I'm awaiting for oncoming days off, to keep gardening, helping my wife managing the veggies in the greenhouse, improving interior of the house or anything else when I have a spare time...

I'm missing to actually get back to my drawing habit, but every time I'm up to something else?

It makes me blaming myself, but I can't help - just yet 😉

I hope you're all very good 👍

Best wishes.

Same with me, Artur. I'm on the verge of completing the final Creative Techniques video. That was going to be Thursday, but four big bales of straw were delivered and that, without going into detail, involved half a day of making room for them. Another day lost. I've just completed a Weekend Workshop, so filming is scheduled for tomorrow.

In the meantime, our stairs and landing are finished and finally carpeted. And Tom the horse is still breaking fences, so there are more jobs still to do. :(

Good to have you with again as soon as you're back in the art saddle. :)

Thank you dear Mike ❤️
The thing that is keeping me away from drawing desk is a constant tiring feeling?
Once I do something at the garden, or the house, name it ~ I’m sort of knackered after doing some job that needed to be done…
Therefore even if I have a time let say at late afternoon, I’m kind of still feeling the later effect of doing something earlier ~ so I’m sitting on sofa instead, chilling out watching movie, having coffee …
Well.
Too bad on me.
But this is what I’m experiencing.

Best wishes Mike, greetings for Jenny ❤️, Watch out that crazy horse (lol 🙊🙈🙉).

Well Artur and Mike - you both are not the only ones getting nowhere fast. Since coming home from the big trip, I have just been diddling about doing a lot of nothing. Unless you count trying to sleep nothing! It has taken a good week to get over the jet lag this time and I am still having trouble getting to sleep and waking up. I keep sleeping through the alarm.
I must start doing something soon... but there is Dr.Who to catch up on, and this show and that one and the garden to be weeded, and oh my, where does the day go?
Did you get the mouldy hay moved Mike?
And that pesky Tom! He is missing all the extra pats and talks and sneaky carrots I was giving him. He's a big beautiful boy with fluffy feet!

Thank you for sharing dear Linda ♥️
It's amazing to have a such lovely horse that's craving an attention 💝

It's lifting me up a bit reading your share story.

If you remember my posts, sometimes I was getting through the lack of motivation, but this time I'm feeling like I've lost it for way too long, it's like not being me myself?!

One of my bus driver friend did stop me few days ago asking for commission to make a portrait of his two grandsons if I'm correct.
I did agree - hoping the commission will wake me up 💖👍

I've turned 52 two days ago (26th Wednesday).

Well, lack of motivation won't promise an artist career any more 🙈

Considering my being, makes me believe this is just the way I'm living?
Just being happy, enjoying what I'm doing, my life, hobbies, things I'm getting lost for ...

Not necessarily becoming an artist, just being a happy person? 💖💝♥️

Best wishes ♥️♥️♥️

Wrong! Absolutely and decidedly wrong. I've just... drumroll please completed the DRAWING TREES video. Yes, really. I have.

I still have the webpages to build, and the 5-minute sample to make, so it will be released next weekend.
Did you get the mouldy hay moved, Mike?
Yes... I HAD TO. Jenny ordered four big bales of straw. It arrived the next day, and I could move anything in the yard for that old hay. And that had been rained on. So, in desperation, instead of filling the tractor’s bucket umpteen times, I risked putting the tractor behind the huge pile of hay and pushing it all the way out into the lane. Then turning through 90 degrees and pushing the whole pile into the field. It worked like a charm!

Then it just needed a pint of diesel to get it burning. By the next day, I had a three-inch-high pile of ash. Perfect!
And that pesky Tom! He is missing all the extra pats and talks and sneaky carrots I was giving him. He's a big beautiful boy with fluffy feet!
I agree to all of that. Apart from his favourite hobby - DESTROYING FENCES. I've got to find time this year to repair at least some them.
