Yes, I agree with Laurene, you can really see your development between these two works. Not just in the tonal variation but things like the anatomy of the animals - like the leading foot/leg of the central steer is so much better and correct. Well done.
re veritcal, not sure, but maybe try reducing the size of the image? I think (maybe) there is a maximum pixel width for images here but I have not read Mike's instructions for awhile. I just tend to make mine around 600pixels wide or so.

I think, no - I KNOW it's improved and looks more looked after 👍
I like that you increased contrast by giving much darker areas compared to the previous.
Therefore your art is more vibrant, letting the light to play much better its role.
I like it very much.
Congratulation 👍

Wow! What a difference! This has atmosphere and a much greater sense of realism.

There are areas in the old version where I think you drew what you could see, or shaded over areas you weren't certain about. This time you were drawing what you understood and that makes a whole world of difference.
...don't know why it's vertical.
I've had that problem and the solution was rather... odd. Are you using a PC? Before you upload the image here, select the "Large Icons" file view in the folder. Now check the thumbnail. If it's rotated your image will be rotated at DWM too.

Either right-click the thumbnail and "rotate right (or left)" until it's the right way up. Or click the Picture Tools tab and rotate left or right there.

Upload the image and it should now be the correct way up:

Wow! Side by side, I see such a difference. Those two steers in the front really jump forward and command a presence now. The energy of it is great. Lovely piece in my (novice) opinion.
