I am delighted to have a work accepted in this years Royal Society of British Artists open call exhibition! This will be at the Mall Galleries in London from February 26 to March 8.
If any of my UK friends are in London during that time, do drop in and have a look at my 'Lepus' drawing!

To say it deserves to be in the exhibition is a huge understatement. I could look at this all day and still find more to marvel at.
Very well-deserved, Linda... CONGRATULATIONS!

Re: Linda in the UK! RBA 2025
Thank you Mike and Laurene - it is kind of exciting! They only accepted one of the three I entered, but I am pleased about that just the same. Sending 3 would have bankrupted me!!
the online shop is now open and you can see all the works. It is alphabetical and I am waaaay at the end, being a 'double-u' (W) - work #519 on page 9. Enjoy all the wonderful works!

That would have been a deliberate policy of the gallery. That way they save the best til last!LindasPencils wrote: Fri Feb 14, 2025 9:04 pm the online shop is now open and you can see all the works. It is alphabetical, and I am waaaay at the end, being a 'double-u' (W) - work #519 on page 9.

And here it is! Opening night was Wednesday, and apparently it was well attended. I did not win anything - but I 'won' by being accepted. I think I am quite happy to be exhibiting in London as my prize!
The exhibition will be open until 8 March 2025, from 10am to 5pm.
You can see the full exhibition online at the Mall Galleries website: https://www.mallgalleries.org.uk

Re: Linda in the UK! RBA 2025
It's looking superb!
This is so REAL that I have to keep reminding myself that it's all drawn from your imagination.
And so wonderfully!
The way the hair seems to flow perfectly through the body behind the "ribs", even though I know each section had to be drawn separately.
The three-dimensional shading and colouring of every single metal piece that perfectly describes it's shape and form. To the point where it actually appears to have been mechanically stamped into shape.
And I love the way that single cog forms the eye!
