This site is called Paint My Photo. Photographers post their photos for the purpose of artists using them. There is no cost, but you do need to create an account for yourself (name, email addy, password). There are thousands of photos on abut every topic.

Thanks, Chris. It appears to be an excellent site for references. I've just joined, so I can see what's on offer, but I've run out of time for today. I'll take a good look around as soon as I can.
