Tattoo idea

Post by PogArt-Ttoo »

Hi dear friends.
I’ve made some tattoo idea based on my latest „Silent Witness” drawing…
Yes Linda 😉👍
You’ve triggered me this way lol ❤️

I was looking for the place on the body to fit the tattoo, and I think this shoulder spot would be best to expose it…

Obviously it’s nothing special, as I’ve only have tried to play with it a bit.
No much effort, or time was involved too.
Thank you for watching 👍

Hi, as you know I’m not posting any updates frequently because my account is being blocked during writing the message-nearly every time.

So imagine me writing the comment, or new topic, and suddenly not being able to post it…

So I do copy my post to paste the whole writing elsewhere (my messenger app) then next time I’m trying do it faster COPY / PASTE just to manage post it then…

The issue is lasting for years now.

So please forgive me that often I’m just not visiting you guys in here…

My TA-OO adventure goes on.
I’ve visited the artist at Leicester last weekend, I’ve played with ink, needles a bit, sort of tried this and that if you know I mean.

There’s a lot to learn, to practice etc.

I’m struggling with basics at this moment, so I’m just choosing something , like the lion recently and I’m trying learn while working on it 😉

The next subject is the lion’s head, the portrait …
My fake skin sheets are small A5 size, so I’ll have a bit bigger face features to play around with my needles 😉

I’m posting many updates on my social media though, like FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM and even TIK TOK 🙊

Yes, three accounts to share my progress 🙉
So if you interested at all, and would like to see how I’m doing, just find me at any profile mentioned above, they all having the same nick name PogArt Ttoo 👍

I hope you are very well ❤️
Best regards.
Art.

The lion’s portraiture WIP 🙊🙈🙉
I’m trying to mix colour on the go, the way I’ve used to with oils, lol …
I bet I’m pushing my limits way too far 😅
I have no technique yet, no any skills, but doing the colour portrait instead 😅😅😅

There is a steep learning curve for any new medium, be it watercolour, oils, inks or skin-ink. You are making great progress, remeber it is practice, practice and more practice to achieve your dream.

btw, have you tried just opening and using a basic gmail account under another name?

Thank you Linda for encouragement ❤️
I’m aware of that, but you know… lol … I WISH I could produce great arts straight away lol lol lol 😉👍

*Not, I haven’t even think of having *alter ego account ..,
I was told, it’s not the email address itself causing problem, but the hidden software using my IP of the internet connection to get through it …
Nevertheless alter ego account is tempting 😉👍
Thank you!

It’s amazing that you’ve gotten so far so quickly!! Are you enjoying it? Is it difficult to control the needles compared to a pencil or paintbrush?

Actually it’s nothing good at the moment…
But THANK YOU 🙈🙉🙊
I’m trying to figure out of how to make a strokes the way to achieve what I want…
So all you can see above, is nothing else but hit or miss practice where I’m just applying the ink and watching the outcome …

I was told it’s most like the air brush technique feeling, rather than pencil if that’s making sense…
I’m finding pencil technique very useful though, what I’ve mentioned to Mike already ❤️
I need to work from dark to the light principal , leaving free area for highlights…
It’s not too difficult once I will know what I’m doing 😅
I’m trying mix colour at same time …
I was told off by my sort of mentor who had invited me to his studio few weeks ago…
Nevertheless I am very after to mix colours, some artist do, so I know it is possible ❤️
But it complicates my learning curve at same time.
I’m not rushing anywhere though.
I’m just being happy and enjoying what I’m up to ❤️
This is matter to me at the moment most.
I’ve got my lost motivation back since I’ve started this unique adventure ❤️
Thank you for keen words Laurene 😉👍

Just remember you cannot run before you walk. Why not try more linear work a bit first before adding tones and colour? Get the basics down first... but as long as you are having fun and it isn't on real skin yet you can afford to experiment!

lol…
Because I was experimenting with different mediums for few years, I’m thinking I can jump on to deep water in no time 🙉🙈🙊
Here it comes my first fail then ~ I’ve ruined a self portrait 😉👍 Linda …
The portrait was too much for me, now I know it 😅
Yeah ~ maybe I should listen to your advice 💕

I’m not so sure, but yesterday I felt something while dealing to the paw shape…
I felt I got it eventually 🙈
Slowly I started understanding more of how to shade the 3D contour of the paw ~ it’s far from what it should have be, that’s obvious, but I think the blockage is easy off, and the window is being opened a bit for fresh breeze to come (lol 😅).

The rest of the lion is just hit or miss it, but the paw I felt different…

Bear in mind I’m using limited palette of about 7 colours to mix.
I’m learning to mix them on the go as well…

So when I’m shading, shaping the object I’m picking/adjusting the colour on the go ~ therefore is even more complicated to do so…

I’m dealing with too many things at once, what’s making it even harder to nail what I want …

I’m improving my stroke technique on the go, trying to nail the colour value and hue on the go, and keep following the reference …

I’ve bought the thermal printer yesterday to easy off stencil making ❤️

I was making stencils free hand, just as you’d copy any image with transfer paper to get those outlines …

It’s good practice to study the object, but time consuming.
Now imagine to do it again if you may want smaller size of what you’ve just done?
The printer will be very handy in this matter!
Also it’ll help me get a geometrical shaped stencils with easy.
I can not imagine making straight outlines with free hand stencil…

Thank you for encouragement dear friends 😉👍
