It is interesting to see the same image portrayed in a variety of media - the majority of members work in colour. Hi Elaine. Kestrels are one of my favourite raptors. They look so small and colourful, I forget what great hunters they are! You really captured that killer look in his eye and beak.
It's funny you mentioned the foliage because I just finished watching one of Mike videos on the post titled "Drawing Hair - the basic method" : https://sibleyfineart.com/videos_misc/basic-shading-1 . He draws a leaf almost exactly like your leaves here!
