Yes!! Your adjustments have made a big difference. This drawing has been overworked now, and is beginning to look ‘muddy’ so I am going to start another spaniel today and bear in mind what I have learned from this one!..

How do I feel?? Slightly worried, but will learn as much from what goes wrong as well as what goes right, plus the worst that can happen is that I will have wasted just one piece of paper.! Thank you for your comments Laurene and Mike. The initial intention was to have much less foreground water, and a lighter sky. But..... I wasnt too happy with the castle, so wanted to draw slightly less attention to it than originally planned!

Castle in the Highlands on the west coast of Scotland. Have some more work to do on the sea - reflections from the bridge and some of the waves need attention. My favourite part of this has been the sky.

Thank you, Mike. I am going to make the adjustments you suggest. To be perfectly honest I was getting very fed up with the drawing, possibly rushed a bit too much.
