Updated emerging cat, almost done

I have been working away at the cat and in the final few days of working on it. I plan on gifting it on Saturday, so this is it.
I sprayed it with a workable fixative so that I can go in and brighten the eyes. Fine tune the fur and add the whites and whiskers. Observations and suggestions are ...

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your thoughts. I so appreciate it. I am using a mix of Holbein and Caron D'ache luminance pencils at the moment. Thank you for the comments Mike. I think that looking at the reflected highlight is a good suggestion. Your version of Gandalf is closer to the real thing. I had difficulties trying to get the attachment small enough to upload and I think it sacrificed a lot of quality.

this a person's beloved cat that I am recapturing for them. I am just starting to get the basic shapes down and of course I find the wax bloom shows up quickly. I have never asked for feedback before so, honest but gentle comments are requested.

Hi from another Canadian

HI everyone. I have taken one weekend workshop with Mike and thoroughly enjoyed it. I am so happy to be invited to help vet this site, I consider it a privilege to have such skillful instruction at hand.
Looking forward to slowly but surely refreshing my drawing with these videos.
