What a lovely drawing! I’m very much drawn to your subject because of that endearing expression you’ve captured!

Haha! Looks like I did a good job almost 10 years ago!!! Well, here’s what I DO remember. I took a whole lot of Mellotex off your hands at the time because I’m such a creature of habit and I absolutely loved that paper! I still have some, as a matter of fact. Looks like I wasn’t the best person to a...

I love your imaginative style Linda. Very unique, and very you!! I agree with Mike that the way you've treated the sheep in the background is the perfect backdrop for your main subject. I also love the contrast of the softness of the sheep against the steely determination of Tansy.

Re: PLATE-FINISH Papers choice
Hi Mike, Firstly, thank you for your clear and precise presentation. It's something I've always appreciated about the manner in which you teach and explain a subject. I think I would lean toward the Conqueror. I'm a little worried that the total lack of tooth on the Olin might make layering more pro...

Scientific illustration is a wonderful field and until recently was an irreplaceable tool in advancing the...

Well, if the test of a good piece of art is that it evokes emotion from the viewer, you’ve succeeded!! I want to reach out and give him a big hug!

Merry Christmas to you and your family Jay, and to all of my friends here on the forum.
Your drawing is wonderful. At first it appears to be a classic portrait, but quickly turns to a strong message of survival.

Re: Neurographic Art
Sounds like you have a full plate Mike! As usual, lol! Weeds and grasses still frustrate me. They often come out looking like fur so I’ll be looking forward to that.
