Re: Large sized paper

A long story short... ;) The paper I originally drew on (Ivorex) was available in art stores. Then it became Mellotex and was limited to the offset-litho print industry. Then that went bankrupt, and I started to use another offset printing paper, CONQUEROR. But the problem is that they are for the ...

Re: Help drawing fabrid!!!

LAURA-Brun-1.jpg
I'll begin by saying I love your drawing for its life and vitality. But there are a couple of areas that, in my opinion, could be improved.

First, cat's eyes are much larger than you think they are. Yours has a hint of white at the right of the iris, and the iris itself curves ...

I’m so happy to say that a few days ago I ordered my book... coming from I think the UK.

Nope! San Antonio, Texas.

I ship signed copies in bulk there to get the shipping cost down for you. You should receive it very soon and if not, let me know and I'll give you the tracking details.

Re: Help - can't get dog whiskers white enough

A few of my students actually use an electronic eraser to lift out whisker and white lines cleanly... Also, remember that you will never get the paper purely white again, but the electronic spinning eraser may work well for you

I've never used one but know artists who do. And I suspect they ...

Larger image posted! NOW I can fully appreciate it. ;)

So full of interest! Every time I look at it, I find something new.

I tried something similar myself many years ago - at Manchester College of Art I think... although it was more a mosaic than your lovely collection of shapes and objects. If ...

Re: Ok I think I did it

But what do you all think of this picture being used to take my baby step to graphite?
I think.... it looks deceptively easy. But it's fraught with problems that you probably don't yet know how to resolve.

Hard edges make life easy. You can outline them, work up to them, treat them independently ...
