Hi Jean-I am quite new at drawing but our Great Pyrenees had a straight muzzle like your drawing which didn’t change until he was older. The only change was the direction of hair. I was wrong about drawing in a “stop “.
I don’t know if I should go darker still with my drawing.

I think the change from muzzle to forehead is too high. There isn’t a “stop”. Otherwise so very good.

Sorry drawing was rotated wrong

This is not as dark as I would like. I started the trees with 2B then 4B and burnished with H. Later tried to darken further-as taught, this did not work.

This was an 8x10 and I used 4B,2B,H and 2H. I used 6B for the pupil. I mostly used 2B and 4B 2mm clutch pencils but struggled to get it dark. The paper is Bristol plate 500 series.

I am enjoying and learning from this forum. Will post once I have this figured out.
