Few days ago I've had no client, so I've started making the stencil of this lion, and placing it on to the fake skin.
The thing is - it requires an extra time to get dry on the rubber sheet, or else the stencil marks will get gone in no time...
So not to waste time doing nothing, I've started drawing this lion on my iPad
I've done it in about 2.5h, so it's not decent looking artwork, but exercise rather if you know I mean.
I'm curious if I can make it looking nice on the fake skin next

I was randomly picking the colours up, trying to match the reference…
It isn’t a free hand though - I’ve been following the stencil shape placed on hidden layer…
It was great exercise to be honest

Oh, it’s nothing but such an amazing complement from an artist and expert like you yourself Laurene
TBH I don’t remember what brush I’ve used, but if I could get a close guess, it would have been some graphite pencil brush if I’m right
I’ve tried charcoal brush, but I felt it isn’t giving me the texture I’m after, so I’ve tried the other one, probably picket from the DRAWING set of brushes…
