This work is titled 'Death by Chocolate' and features Australias favourite biscuit, the Tim Tam. A small work about 30 x 30cm on Lana 300gsm hot press paper, primarily graphite, but inclusions of gold ochre Karat colour pencil to give the suggestion of gold and rich chocolate.
I found the little cake plate at my local Opp Shop, its a lovely bone china design with autumn leaves... that I have modified.
I ate the Tim Tams.
One of my works for my upcoming exhibition 'Food For Thought' at SOL gallery here in Melbourne.

I LOVE those skeletons! :o   I love how they go unnoticed in the peaceful scene of bone china plate and biscuits.... only to find bodily remains amongst the foliage.

PRICELESS!

😂😅🤣. Death by chocolate indeed!! And just in time for Halloween 🎃!

Love the concept, but pass on the cookies. Looks like the last customers paid an awful price for nibbling on them 😳

Seriously though, I’ve seen Tim Tams here in Canada in some specialty stores. I’ll have to pick some up next time I see them!
