I love watercolor, but rarely get to even try. I've always been one that was super attached to being as realistic as possible, but I wanted to force myself to do something looser. This was my first (and only) attempt at a loose watercolor on 5x7 Winsor Newton Cold Press 140#. Cheers, y'all!

It’s lovely! The gradation of colour in the sky is beautiful and there is just enough detail in the poppies to hold our attention on the main subject.
